The Mediterranean Fan Palm is native to the western Mediterranean region, southwestern Europe & northwest Africa. 

This unique palm is more of a shrub-like clumping palm with several stems growing from a single base. The stems grow slowly and often tightly together, eventually reaching 6'-10'  tall.
